Bio
Joseph Jayaseelan is a Partner of Moore Aiyar. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) since
2006. He also a Fellow Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxations and Fellow Member of Certified Management Accountants. He holds a
Bachelor Degree, specialized in the field of Human Resource Management. He has been awarded a Subject prize in Corporate Law subject in the
Final Level exams conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
He has been serving as a Committee Member of the Taxation Committee of the ICASL and also a member of the Taxation Faculty of the ICASL. He
has served Honorary Vice President of the Institute of Taxation – Sri Lanka and before this he served as Hon. Secretary of the Council of the Institute
of Taxation and as a Committee Member for several years.
Mr. Jayaseelan started his career in M/s. Jayasinghe & Company Chartered Accountants as an Accounts Trainee in the year 2000 and after
completing the article period of four years joined with M/s. Ready wear Industries Ltd. as an Accountant, he was responsible for the entire Finance
Department. In the year 2006 he left this company and rejoined M/s. Jayasinghe & Company Chartered Accountants as a Partner and was heading
the Tax and Advisory Services of M/s. Jayasinghe & Company till his departure in December 2010.
Joseph Jayaseelan joined Moore Aiyar in January 2011 and he is the Head of Tax and Business Advisory Services.
He counts an experience over 20 years in private practices servicing clients in different industries. He has obtained several industry exposures during
his career working in the Managerial level.
