E. Ruwan J. Perera is the Joint Managing Partner of Moore Aiyar. Moore Aiyar is a firm of Chartered Accountants in business since 1938 and
considered as a well-established Firm among Audit Firms in Sri Lanka, with a present strength of 119 Employees. Moore Aiyar is an independent
Firm; in Association with Moore Global Network Limited which is the 11th largest Audit Firm in the world. Mr. Perera is also the International
Liaison partner for Moore Global Network Limited.
E. Ruwan J. Perera is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). He holds a Master’s Degree in
Financial Economics from the University of Colombo and he is also a Fellow member of the Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka,
Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Associate member of Certified professional Managers of Sri Lanka.
Mr. Perera started his career in M/s. BDO Partners Chartered Accountants as an Accounts Trainee in the year 1996 and after completing the
article period of four years joined with Abans Restaurant System (Pvt) Ltd (Mcdonals) as the Accountant in the year 2000 and the year 2002 he
resigned from Abans and joined with Aventis Crop Science Ltd. as the Financial Manager. In the year 2003 he joined with Sathsindu Group of
Companies as the Group Financial Controller. He was responsible for the entire Finance Department, of the Group. In addition to that he was
servicing as an independent Director for Sanasa Insurance Company for a period of two years in the years 2011 and 2012, and also working as the
treasurer of Sri Lanka Law College from the year 2008 to date. He counts an experience over 31 years in private practices servicing clients in
different industries. He has obtained several industry exposures during his career working in the Managerial level.
